Error description

  • When trying to modify a record after relogin due to session time
    out, it is not possible to add attachments to the record.
    
    Steps to reproduce:
    
    1. Log in to CQWeb and and open a record. click on the
    attachments tab and start a modify action
    2. Add an attachment and save the record
    3. Allow the session to time-out
    4. Click again to modify. You are prompted to re-login
    5. Click again on modify
    6. Try to add a second attachment. You will see that, after
    selecting the file to attach, the list of attachments is not
    updated.
    7. Save the record. The second attachment is not there.
    
    To be able to add an attachment to the record, the user has to
    log off cqweb, log in and modify the record again

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available in ClearQuest 9.0.1.6.
    If a record has a session timeout during a modification action,
    ClearQuest Web has been fixed to allow the addition of a new
    attachment.
