PH01963: SELECT & SEARCH PROMPT IS MISSING IN THE TOOLBOX AFTER CLICKING IN PROMPT PAGES AND THEN BACK TO PAGE1 IN THE REPORT DESIGN

• Closed as suggestion for future release.

Error description

• This issue only occurs when using Data modules as sources of
  data. After trying with packages from the Samples, this
  behaviour does not occur anymore.
  
  Steps to replicate the issue:
  
  1. Create a new report and select a Blank template.
  2. Add any Data module source from the Samples (eg: Team Content
  > Samples > Data > Customer analysis).
  3. Click on the plus sign to add a List on the report and
  confirm on the query dialog.
  4. Add any field to the list (eg: the first 4 fields).
  5. Go to the Toolbar and then click on PROMPTING. Notice how the
  "Select & Search prompt" option is listed. (AS EXPECTED)
  
  6. Go to Pages and then click on the Prompt pages folder. Then
  click on Page1 to go back to the report design.
  7. Click on the Toolbar icon to display the Toolbar again and
  open the PROMPTING section.
  8. The "Select & Search prompt" is not available anymore within
  the list whereas before it was. (UNEXPECTED).
  
  This option does not appear again, even after closing and
  reopening the report.
  
  Issue was reported by the customer on Cognos Analytics 11.0.9
  but after testing it, it is also present on Cognos Analytics
  11.0.12.

• No workaround found other than creating a new report from
  scratch.

•  Currently, Select & Search prompt controls aren't supported
  against modules. This should be logged as an RFE (if it hasn't
  already been logged). The UI in 11.1.2 removes the Search &
  Select prompt control as soon as you open a module.
