Error description

• When utilizing extended-format data sets as journal data sets:
  1. A system D37 abend in FUNJRN01 can result. This abend
  scenario is not being handled by the Journal Manager and will
  result in messages:
  - CEX5405I Connect Extensions task, JRNLMGR, has ended before
    shutdown
  - CEX5004I IMS Connect Extensions status change detected : Event
    Collection now inactive
  2. Journal data set space utilization is sub optimal, leading to
  a significantly increased volume of journal archiving

Problem conclusion

• 1. Add a DCB abend exit and supporting logic to FUNJRN01 in
     order to recover from a journal data set D37 abend, as well
     as to capture diagnostic information to help identify the
     cause of the D37 abend scenario.
  
  2. Add support for the use of extended-format data sets as
     journal data sets.
  
  3. Modify journal data set logging to utilize optimal,
     half-track block sizes by default
