PH01667: ADMIN TOOL PANEL ADB21KB BIND PACKAGE LIBRARY ZFS ABSOLUTE PATH DOUBLE QUOTES ERROR MESSAGE INVALID DSN - QUALIFIER

APAR status

Error description

• The bind command should allow the LIBRARY parm to specify a zFS
  absolute path, and the MEMBER parm to name a zFS file, both
  specified in double quotes.  However, if a package is bound
  using a zFS path, the LIBRARY field of panel ADB21KB ('ssid'
  Bind Package) is not populated, and the bind package process
  fails.  Further, an attempt to specify a zFS absolute path in
  double quotes in the LIBRARY field may result in the error
  message  "Invalid DSN - qualifier."

  When issuing the BIND (B) line command on a package on panel
  ADB21K 'Packages', if the package is bound using a zFS path,
  the LIBRARY name is not populated, and the bind package
  process fails. If the user attempts to add a valid zFS path
  in the LIBRARY field, they receive error message
  "Invalid DSN - qualifier."
  
  This APAR adds a fix to populate the LIBRARY and MEMBER name
  fields (with double quotes) to support a successful zFS path
  package bind.
