APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Create a version name longer than 55 characters.
When running an application process to deploy the component with
the long version name
The version can be selected and added, but then cannot be
removed from the list of versions because it's name is cut off.
In Chrome and IE the name is cut off after the 55th character.
In FireFox  the name is cut off after the 51st character.
So the Delete  character 'x' is not displayed or clickable

Local fix

  • Cancel the Component Version selection and start over.
