ABENDAEIP occurs.

If the CICS Statistics sample transaction, STAT, is executed
in a region which is configured with the Startup Parameter
VTAM=NO, then program DFH0STSY will abend, AEIP,
when it issues an EXEC CICS INQUIRE VTAM command.

Problem conclusion

  • DFH0STSY has been changed to handle the INVREQ condition
which occurs when EXEC CICS INQUIRE VTAM is issued in
a region which is configured with VTAM=NO.
The statistics report field "VTAM Open Status" will contain
"VTAM=NO" for a region which is configured with VTAM=NO.
