PH00018: CORRECT PROBLEMS WITH SIGYSAMP(IGYWIVP1 & IGYWIVP2)

Error description

• The following items will be corrected in SIGYSAMP(IGYWIVP1 &
  IGYWIVP2) for COB V6.1 and V6.2:
  
  1) Correct missing LIBPRFX reference in IGYWIVP2 in V6.2.
  2) Change NOOPT to OPT(0) in IGYWIVP2 in V6.1 & V6.2.
  3) Update the V6.1 JCL & comments for IGYWIVP1 & IGYWIVP2
     to match V6.2.
  

Local fix

• Modify JCL in IGYWIVP1/IGYWIVP2 to include the missing lines:

Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Missing documentation: There were       *
  *                      several problems with the sample jobs   *
  *                      IGYWIVP1 and IGYWIVP2, as provided by   *
  *                      IBM. There were some missing items in   *
  *                      the JCL and also inconsistencies        *
  *                      between the jobs provided in different  *
  *                      levels of the V6.2 compiler.            *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF.                      *

  The problems with the sample jobs IGYWIVP1 and IGYWIVP2,
  include:
  1) missing LIBPRFX reference in IGYWIVP2 in V6.2.
  2) Incorrect reference to NOOPT in IGYWIVP2 in V6.2.
  3) The V6.1 JCL for IGYWIVP1 and IGYWIVP2 should match the JCL
     in V6.2.
  

Problem conclusion

• The IVP sample jobs IGYWIVP1 and IGYWIVP2 have been updated:
  1) The missing LIBPRFX references have been added to sample job
     IGYWIVP2 in V6.2.
  2) Incorrect reference to NOOPT has been replaced with OPT(0)
     on the PARM.COBOL="..." state ment in sample job IGYWIVP2
     for V6.2.
  3) Correct inconsistencies in the JCL for sample jobs IGYWIVP1
     and IGYWIVP2 between releases.
