OW45098: OPT34 DATA SET INFORMATION DOES NOT DISPLAY THE UPDATED SMS CLASS INFORMATION AFTER THE IDCAMS ALTER / MGMTCLAS(X) CMD.

Error description

• OPT34 "I" data set information does not display the updated
  management class after a IDCAMS ALTER / MGMTCLAS(xxx)has
  been issued for the data set. This  occurs only for data sets
  that are already allocated ot the TSO / ISPF session. The
  updated SMS class information is didplayed for SMS managed data
  set that have not been previously allocated.

  The S99NOCNV bit for S99FLAGS1 is set on but it is ignorded
  on a dynamic allocation verb code 07 - data set information
  retrieval request.

  When information about the SMS classes is requested using
  SVC99, an existing allocation is used instead and the
  information is returned based on that existing allocation.

• In a future release of ISPF, the SMS information will be
  obtained from the catalog instead of from SVC99.  The
  catalog information will contain the new SMS management
  class specified on the ALTER command.
