Error description

  • In EDITing a member,  with CAPS OFF and keying the Icelandic
    character in UPPER CASE, pressing the enter key will return
    these Icelandic characters in LOWER CASE.
    These characters are:

    Capital E acute     x'71'   >    lower case e acute    x'51'
    Capital Y acute     x'AD'   >    lower case y acute    x'8D'

    Capital O acute     x'EE'   >    lower case o acute    x'CE'

    Capital eth         x'7C'   >    lower case eth        x'79'

    to be translated to their lower case values.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The lower case translate table for Icelandic has been
    changed to translate all characters to themselves except
    for X'08', X'1C', X'1D', and X'1E'.
