Error description
Incorrect cursor position after return from ISPF actions command. Following is the sequence that highlights the error. 1) On the ISPF primary panel enter the command ACTIONS M 2) Select option 1 from the MENU drop down menu 3) Press F3 or enter the END command to return from the VIEW panel. On return to the primary panel the ACTIONS M command has been blanked out but instead of the cursor being positioned at beginning of the command line it is where the end of the ACTIONS M command previously was.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All ISPF users * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: After entering the ACTIONS command with * * or without a mnemonic specified, * * selecting a action bar pulldown choice * * and then ending or cancelling from * * the resulting panel the command line * * is cleared but the cursor remains * * positioned following the last letter * * typed from the ACTIONS command. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** After entering the ACTIONS command on the command line, selecting a action bar pulldown choice, and ending or cancelling that choice the command line is cleared but the cursor is not returned to the start of the command line.
Problem conclusion
The code was changed to only restore the cursor position when the ACTIONS function key is pressed and the cursor is not on the command line. The command line is cleared and the cursor placed at the beginning of the command line after ACTIONS "x" or ACTIONS entered on the command line when the user ends or cancels from the action bar pulldown choice he selected.
