    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Option 3.4 sometimes shows a migration *
    * flag for an alias. *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply PTF when available. *
    ****************************************************************
Option 3.4 sometimes shows a migration level for an alias of
a migrated data set, but this is not consistent.

Problem conclusion

  • Migration flags will now be shown on all aliases that relate
to migrated data sets. The volume will show as "*ALIAS1' or
'*ALIAS2' in these cases. An alias for a multivolume data
set will have a '+' indicator like '*ALIAS+'.

This apar also includes an additional fix APAR OW25456 - ISPF
for OS/390 option ( opt34 ) displays the SYSRES volume instead
of the extended indirect voulume serial.
