Error description
Support for Enhanced Network Qualified Names was incorporated into the base release of VTAM V4R1. Now the UECB passed to appl- ication's logon exit contains a plist for the NQNs in addition to the previously passed information. TSO/VTAM stores the NQN using the TSBTRMID and the TSBXNET fields of the TSB and TSBX control blocks. In the past if an alias name were used (i.e. NETVIEW alias) to start the session, then TSO/VTAM would use the TSBTRMID field to store this name. Some applications rely on this alias name for various functions (mostly session validation).

Problem conclusion
A new field has been created in IKTTSBX (TSBXTRMR) to store the REAL terminal name, allowing the alias name to be kept in TSBTRMID. The following TSO/VTAM modules were changed to reference TSBXTRMR instead of TSBTRMID for the real terminal name. IKTCAS23 IKTMSIFR IKTCAS31 IKTVTGTF IKTIOFRR IKTXINIT IKTLOGR IKT09411 IKTLTERM ISTNOCDT New fields in IKTWESTD were created to pass the real name to the routine posted to build the TSB and TSBX. A new field was also added to IKTDOCTV for documentation of both names in the SDWA during FRR processing. The following modules have been recompiled to pick up changes to the three macros.
