APAR status

Error description

  • On testing HOD v 16.0.0 and V 16.0.1 user experiences
intermittent loops when running Managed HOD v 16.0.X

User is using custom HTMLs and these work most of the time but
sometimes the session will appear to start but the terminal
session remains blank even though the message in the status bar
says connected. Error COMM 659 displays.

Since Managed HOD task is non-responsive, user  has to
terminate it by using Windows Task Manager.

Problem summary


    

  • The error occurs when a user launches the HTML page and attempts
to connect to a 3270 Display session. The connection fails to
render the mainframe screen fully, resulting in the session
becoming unresponsive at the Comm 655 error state.

  • Code changes have been made to resolve the issue.
