APAR status

Error description

• Error "IKYD003I DB2 SQL failure: Instruction SELECT FROM ICL
  ORDER BY RECORD_KEY DESC FIRST ROW ONLY failed with SQLCODE
  -805, SQLSTATE 51002" when trying to do a Db2 BIND for PKI on a
  zOS3.2 after z/OS 3.1 to z/OS 3.2 migration. The FMID on the
  DBRM member is HKY77E0 on zOS3.1 and also on zOS3.2 where it
  should be HKY77F0.

  impacting customer´s schedule for zOS3.2 migration

Problem summary

  *                 with instances of PKI Services that use Db2  *
  *                 as the backing store.                        *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: PKI Services 3.2 shipped a set of Db2   *
  *                      DBRMs with incorrect version            *
  *                      information.  When these Db2 DBRMs are  *
  *                      installed in an existing Db2 package    *
  *                      via a BIND operation, these DBRMs       *
  *                      replace any previously existing Db2     *
  *                      DBRMs that were installed for PKI       *
  *                      Services 3.1.  This causes instances    *
  *                      of PKI Services 3.1 to fail on startup  *
  *                      with an SQL failure.                    *

Problem conclusion

• The version information for the z/OS PKI Services Version 3
  Release 2 Db2 DBRMs IKYPDBRM, IKYPDBR1, and IKYPDBR2 are
  corrected.  The shared library that interacts with these Db2
  DBRMs is modified to use the correct versions of these Db2
  DBRMs.
