OA69097: Z DATASET CLEAN-UP OPTION PRODUCES NO DELETE COMMANDS ZDMF/C

APAR status

Error description

• When the Z line command is used to build clean-up JCL, there
  are no DELETE commands produced for the target datasets.

Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When the Z line command for a group     *
  *                      shown in TSO Monitor option 2, the JCL  *
  *                      is generated with no DELETE commands    *
  *                      for the old renamed migrated datasets.  *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF when available.       *

  The clean-up JCL generated by TSO Monitor option 2 line commmand
  Z scans the message log for certain messages to gather the DSNs
  that should be deleted for a group.  However, since OA66750 was
  implemented, a bug caused these messages to produce incorrect
  DSNs.  This was due to the change in the rename method.
  

Problem conclusion

• The program that issues the relevant message was updated to
  use the correct dataset name.  This allows the program that
  generates the clean-up JCL to find them, and work correctly.
