OA67661: DATA IS TRUNCATED WHEN TRYING TO CREATE ENTRY IN THE JSON

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Unable to create entry in the JSON when the size of the entry
  value is excessively large. No error was returned from Web
  toolkit resulting in unsuccessful return code and JSON entry
  value is truncated after creation of JSON Entry.
  
  ANALYSIS:
  With the current functionality, if a user attempts to create an
  entry with a value larger than 16MB, the entry is truncated
  without returning an error to the user, which is unintended
  behavior from Web toolkit.
  
  KNOWN IMPACT:
  The users should be able to create a JSON entry in the JSON when
  entry value is very large.

• The JSON parser has been updated to support the creation of JSON
  entries with JSON entry value exceeding 16MB.
