  It is highly desirable to compute sizes for coupling facility
  (CF) structures at CFLevels not yet installed in the system, to
  facilitate capacity planning and migration.  Today, structure
  size calculations can be performed directly by the CF or
  emulated for CFLevel 25.  With the release of CFLevel 26
  (provided by IBM z17), we wish to continue adding to this
  support, allowing users to specify the new CFLevel for which
  its structure sizing calculation is to be performed through the
  IXLCSP API.

• This APAR provides support for software emulation of CFLevel 26
  structure computation functions.  When installed, the IXLCSP
  structure computation service can perform size and count
  calculations for CFLevel 26 even when there is no CF at that
  level configured in the sysplex.  For z/OS V2R5 (HBB77D0), we
  can support only one CFLevel and will replace the existing
  CFLevel 25 support with CFLevel 26, while z/OS 3.1 (HBB77E0)
  and z/OS 3.2 (HBB77F0) will support both CFLevel 25 and CFLevel
  26.
