APAR status

Error description

  • High CPU in C2POLICE.

A loop can occur around CKRCFS.CKRJFCB+x'C20' processing
information from a newly collected Extended Monitoring CKFREEZE.

Local fix

  • Restart C2POLICE. Temporarily disable Extended Monitoring.

Problem summary

*                 TRUSTED, and SENSDSN reports and users of    *
*                 other zSecure products (like zSecure Alert)  *
*                 utilizing same processing.                   *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: zSecure Audit might enter an infinite   *
*                      loop.                                   *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF provided.                      *
****************************************************************
When zSecure Audit performs processing required to generate
AS_DD, TRUSTED, and SENSDSN reports, it might enter an infinite
loop. zSecure started task (like C2POLICE) might be affected
as well.

Problem conclusion

  • zSecure Audit has been modified, so that it does not enter an
infinite loop while performing processing required to generate
AS_DD, TRUSTED, and SENSDSN reports.
