Error description

• When HSIZIPDS is called by programs such as HSICIQIM and
  HSICUIMP, an S0C4-4 abend can result. This problem may also
  affect other programs such as HSIZCAT and HSIZIP.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Programs calling module HSIZIPDS to     *
  *                      perform unzip processing may abend with *
  *                      S0C4-04 due to a bad CLC instruction    *
  *                      where the storage pointed to by GPR15   *
  *                      is inaccessible.                        *

  When extracting data from the Z390 zip header extension, a data
  constant is compared to the storage pointed to by GPR15. This
  operand is incorrectly coded and should have been a variable in
  working storage. Most of the time GPR15 is zero or a small
  positive number and so a comparison to fixed low storage occurs
  which does not cause any problems. When GPR15 is negative the
  S0C4 abend occurs.
  

Problem conclusion

• Module HSIZIPDS is changed so that the CLC instruction addresses
  the correct working storage. This PTF ships updated levels of
  programs HSIBRZIP, HSIZCAT and HSIZIP. Correspondingly updated
  levels of HSICANLZ, HSICIQIM, HSICUIMP and HSICPLIM are shipped
  in PTFs fixing APAR OA66591.
  
  Programs calling HSIZIPDS to perform zip processing such as
  HSICCSI, HSIPINQ, HSIXINQ and HSIZMON are not affected by this
  defect.
