Error description

• A number of errors can occur when encrypting or rotating
  encryption keys for compressed datasets.  Abend S213-E2, or
  empty output files can occur.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: After a ROTATE of an encrypted and      *
  *                      compressed dataset, the resulting       *
  *                      dataset may not be readable.            *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF.                      *
  ****************************************************************
  Compressed datasets cannot be encrypted correctly at this time
  except with Logical Copy.
  

Problem conclusion

• zDMF activation will skip compressed files when ENCRYPT or
  ROTATE is requested, unless LOGICAL-COPY is also requested.
