Error description

  • Logical Copy processes files using standard access methods, and
    this causes the output files to have the change flag in the DSCB
    set.  This can cause extra unplanned backup activity.
    Non-logical copy processing does not set this flag.

Problem conclusion

  • Logical Copy will propagate the reference flags from the source
    dataset to the new (target) dataset as non-logical-copy does.
