APAR status

Error description

• It is possible for OMEGAMON to use beyond the obtained storage
  when certain results set or sizes are used. This is most obvious
  with CPSM where more that 336 System groups or group to group
  connections or active CICS regions per LPAR will result in an
  overlay or 0C4 abend.

Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A storage overlay or abend occurs in    *
  *                      CICS when OMEGAMON processes a large    *
  *                      CICSplex.                               *
  ****************************************************************
  When OMEGAMON processes a CICSplex which has over 336 CICS
  system groups, CICS regions or CICS to CICS connections an
  overlay may occur due to an error in the mechanism used to
  return large result sets to OMEGAMON.
  

Problem conclusion

• The returning of large result sets will no longer cause OMEGAMON
  to overlay storage.
