  *                      encrypting a PS file.                   *
  ****************************************************************
  GZDCTLM routine to add 8-byte prefix to each record gets called
  multiple times for the same cylinder buffer. Upon each call, the
  a full cylinder buffer length gets copied starting from the next
  track offset into the buffer. This leads to attempts to access
  data beyond the end of the cylinder buffer leading to possible
  various storage access violations (abend0c4 type).
  

Problem conclusion

• GZDCTLM is modified to call the conversion routine once to add
  the record prefix or suffix data to blocks in a tracck or
  cylinder image buffer.
