Error description
When trying to complete a button on the keyboard Pop Up button facility, users cannot clear from the button field the entry that the users have typed if the typed entry is incorrectly filled in. Issue recreate: 1 Select 3270 session. 2 Select Settings. 3 Under Settings select Popup Keypad. 4 Under Popup Keypad select Customize 5 Set number of Pads to 4. 6 Select Macro & Keypad 4. 7 For example, if on keypad 4, column 2, rows 3 & 4 are the same and users need to clear column 2 row 3,users cannot find any way to clear the entry. Users can change it but not clear it.
Local fix
Problem summary
Resetting a specific pad's button under Customize Pop-Up Keypad is not an option. If the user wants to reset a single button, they have to reset all back to defaults.
Problem conclusion
Code changes have been made to allow the user to click on the pad's button again to reset it to its default state.
