Error description
Symptom : If user attempts to logon with an invalid userid using a passphrase, a USER.COMMON.PROFILE table is allocated for the invalid userid before the userid has been validated. Recreate Steps : 1. Setup passphrase processing - Issue the following NAM commands : NAM SET PASSPHRS USEPHRS:1 NAM SET PASSPHRS PHRSCPS:xxxxxxxx/xxxxxxxx Where xxxxxxxx are gateway APPLIDs to use passphrases. 2. Local fix
Use a Valid USERID and Passphrase to logon. It should be noted that with the v3.10 unified Credential Panel logon, this issue is not recreatable. If OA62077 (v310 APAR) is installed in a 3.10 environment, then the new Unified Credential Panel should be used. Using an invalid UserID and Passphrase will result in an invalid profile will be created. The work around on v3.10 is to use the new Unified Credential Logon process.
