    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This APAR includes an enhancement to *
    *                      IBM z/OS DLA V320.                      *
    ****************************************************************
For Db2, the APAR enables IBM z/OS DLA V320 to now discover IBM
Db2 for z/OS managed stored procedure resources for running
    Db2 address spaces.

Problem conclusion

  • To enable the function of IBM z/OS DLA V320 to discover stored
procedure resources from IBM Db2 for z/OS, users must turn ON
the 'DISC DB2' and 'DISC DB2.SQL' options, and also set the
'ENABLE_ZRDS' to YES in IZDCDEF configuration file for IBM z/OS
    DLA V320.

The APAR introduces a new filter 'FILT DB2.STOREDPROCEDURE' in
IZDCDEF to include or exclude discovered Db2 stored procedure
    resources in output IdML books.

The new "Db2StoredProcedure" resources and report will be output
into IdML books for each discovered Db2 subsystem when the
Db2 stored procedure discovering function is enabled and the new
filter is set to include the resources data.

The book of 'IBM Discovery Library Adapter for z/OS 3.2 User
Guide SC27-2893-01' is updated with the following content for
the new Db2 Filter and Db2 stored procedure resource class.

1.The new filter is added to 'FILT directive' under 'zOS DLA
discovery customization' section of 'Chapter 3. Reference
      information'.

    -DB2.STOREDPROCEDURE
EXCLUDE suppresses all output for Db2 stored procedures.
    This default setting is EXCLUDE.

2.The source of discovered Db2 stored procedure is added into
the table of 'DB2.SQL' under 'DISC directive' section of
      'Chapter 3. Reference information'.

    SYSIBM.SYSROUTINES/StoredProcedure attributes

3.The new Db2 resource class is added to 'Db2 Subsystem' section
of 'Chapter 6. Appendix C. z/OS DLA data model class types
      represented in CDM'.

    app.db.db2.Db2StoredProcedure
    Db2 stored procedures.

    Attributes:
     - Name: Name of the Db2 stored procedure
     - RoutineType: User-defined function or cast function.
     - Origin: Origin of the routine for external or external SQL
       procedure.
     - SpecificName: Specific name of the routine.
     - ExternalName: The path/module/function that Db2 should load
       to execute the routine.
     - Collid: Name of the package collection to be used when the
       routine is executed.
     - Language: Implementation language of the routine

    Requirements for discovery
     - Discover options DB2 and DB2.SQL are enabled.
     - SET ENABLE_ZRDS is YES.
     - Filtering is enabled. By default, Db2 stored procedure report
       is SUPPRESSED.
     - Db2 subsystem and related address spaces must be active
       and fully initialized.
     - The user ID running the DLA must have authority to execute
       SQL command.

    CDM specific information
     - Label: For DataSharing: name-data sharing group-sysplex,
              For not shared: name-subsystem.
     - Id(IdML): Label-Db2StoredProcedure
     - sourceToken(IdML): Label-Db2StoredProcedure

    Naming rules:
     - Name and contains relationship from
       sys.zOS.DB2DataSharingGroup or sys.zOS.DB2Subsystem (if no
        sys.zOS.DB2DataSharingGroup).

    Relationships:
     - Link type: contains
     - Source: sys.zOS.DB2Subsystem and sys.zOS.DB2DataSharingGroup
     - Target: app.db.Db2StoredProcedure
