OA64730: ABEND0C9 IN IGG0CLF0 AT X'1C50'

Obtain the fix for this APAR.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Catalog suffers an ABEND S0C9 when doing performance
  calculations after catalog address space has been running for a
  long period of time.
  
  ANALYSIS:
  The PSW for the abending TCB, will point to offset +x'1C50' into
  
  IGG0CLF0, and Register 12 will be all ZEROS, because the
  count has wrapped, and CATALOG is attempting to execute
  DSGR (Divide by single grande) with a zero in the divisor
  
  KNOWN IMPACT:
  Catalog takes a dump, and continue processing, but the catalog
  performance statistics will be incorrect until catalog is
  restarted.
  
  VERIFICATION STEPS:
  Using IPCS, verify register 12 at time of error is all zeros.

  Restart Catalog Address Space periodically
  
  RECOVERY ACTION:
  Restart Catalog Address space to reset performance information

Problem conclusion

• The calculation of some statistics was flawed.  The flawed
  calculations are currently not used so were removed (for
  now).
