OA63552: RMFGAT FAILS WITH AN ABEND0C4 PIC11 IN IDCSS02+X'1058' AT BASE HDZ2250

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• RMFGAT is calling IDCSS02 to get Subsystem Counts for all
  subsystems.  This fails with an abend0c4 PIC11 in
  IDCSS02+x'1058'.  Register 8 contains x'7FFFF000'.
  
  KNOWN IMPACT:
  thousands of abends occurring daily.  DAE suppresses the dumps

Problem conclusion

• Code updated to check the UCB address is nonzero for a valid
