Error description

  • In the past, this integration required the system administrator
to create a very complex single-line configuration expression
for the Problem Insights server. This expression could grow so
long that standard z/OS text editors were not able to
    edit it.

    * RECOMMENDATION: APPLY this PTF and follow the ++HOLD        *

The KPI anomaly configuration was moved to a YAML
file so the KPI anomaly parameters could be configured
in an easier to read format.

Problem conclusion

  • With this PTF, the complex configuration expression
has been broken into a series of short and simple
expressions in YAML format. It has also been
moved into a separate configuration file.
