APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • HSM file mode host abended with ABEND722.
HSM classic host was/is still running.
HSM file mode host is restarted and running.
Any requests being submitted to HSM fail with ARC0050A message
indicating HSM is not started.
In diagnosing the issue, it was found that the HSM "main host
active" bit was not being turned back on when the file mode host
was restarted.

Local fix

  • Restart classic and file mode host.
