Error description

  • Abend 0C4 occurs in an ISV product, due to Access Monitor
invalidly referencing information in the DEB prefix.

Local fix

  • Change the Access Monitor parameter:
CapturePrograms
to
NoCapturePrograms

Problem summary

When the CapturePrograms(SpecProgram) option is specified for
the zSecure Access Monitor started task (C2PACMON), the SAF
Router exit for PROGRAM class (C2PRTY00) installed by software
might issue an ABEND0C4.

Problem conclusion

  • zSecure Access Monitor has been modified so that the SAF Router
exit for PROGRAM class (C2PRTY00) installed by software does not
ABEND0C4 in cases where the CapturePrograms(SpecProgram) option
is specified for the zSecure Access Monitor started task.
