Error description

• The RMF Monitor III CPC report does not show all
  logical partitions of a central processor complex (CPC).

  The RMF Monitor III CPC report does not show all LPARS
  of a CPC.
  The problem occurs since x'EF' is the highest
  physical core address supported by RMF.
  As result of that, the z/OS data gatherer flags physical cores
  with an address > x'FE' as invalid and they will not be
  considered by the RMF reporter when CPC report is created.
  Affected releases: z/OS-2.3 up to z/OS-2.5
  

Problem conclusion

• With this APAR, the highest physical core address supported by
  the RMF data gatherer is increased to x'FF'.
