Error description

  • Z APM Connect was observed to not report backend calls from CICS
    in a customer CICS environment with MNSYNC=YES.

Problem summary

    * RECOMMENDATION: APPLY THIS PTF.                              *

    Z APM Connect does not record backend calls from CICS in
    customer environment when using MNSYNC=YES. The CICS Node is
    recognized on the Dashboard and the MQ GET calls are visible,
    however the backend calls were not being captured. User
    verified that the settings for the CICS TS backend tracing are
    set properly.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Backend calls after syncpoints are now reported alongside the
    aggregate transaction report.  Backend calls are reported
    regardless of the setting of the CICS's MNSYNC value.
