    ****************************************************************
The current JES2 HTTP Job Notification support will issue a
job notification when the job is no longer eligible for
execution (e.g., the job has completed execution).

Customers would like to receive notifications for other job
life cycle events so they can be more aware of a job's
progress and can possibly enhance job scheduling applications
to use the new notifications to better track job progress.

  • TYPE/RESTART (WARM) IPL/REQUIRED (YES) CLPA (YES)

CLPA is needed only if HASCxxxx modules currently reside in
the pageable link pack area (PLPA).

The JES2 HTTP Job Notification support has been enhanced to
issue notifications when a job is ready for execution and
when a job is selected for execution. It also provides
customers the ability to indicate what job notifications
they wish to receive for the job. This information is
supplied using a new symbol, SYS_JOB_NOTIFYX, which is
documented in the z/OS JES Application Programming manual.

Customers can also request job notifications
using the z/OS jobs REST interface with the enhanced support
provided in z/OSMF APAR PH44152. Refer to that APAR for
information and documentation updates for implementing that
    new capability.

The JES2 HTTP Job Notification support has been enhanced to
issue notifications when a job is ready for execution and
when a job is selected for execution. It also provides
customers the ability to indicate what job notifications
