Problem summary

*                 zSecure services for remote data access.     *

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: zSecure Admin/Audit might occasionally  *
*                      issue ABEND0C4 or ABENDA78 while using  *
*                      zSecure services for remote data        *
*                      access.                                 *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF provided.                      *
****************************************************************
When remote data is being processed via zSecure services for
remote data access, the main zSecure program or the CKNSERVE
started task might issue an occasional ABEND0C4 or ABENDA78
(for example, if the query being processed is terminated by
the user in interactive mode) caused by improper resource
cleanup.

Problem conclusion

  • zSecure Admin/Audit has been modified so that it performs proper
resource cleanup upon termination so that no ABEND0C4 or
ABENDA78 are issued.
