APAR status

Error description

  • Message "CKR0734 12 Imbed failed, file CKA@CUST not allocated"
    is received, when the user is using zSecure in split screen mode
    on both sessions, and one of the sessions is ended.  When one of
    the sessions is ended, the CKA@CUST DD name is freed, and the
    session that is still active incurs the CKR0734 message.
    

Local fix

  • Do not exit zSecure in either session, until you are finished
    with your work.

    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF provided.                      *

    When multiple sessions of zSecure are running in interactive
    mode using ISPF split screen feature and one of the sessions is
    terminated, the other active session issue a MSGCKR0734 which
    begins with the text "Imbed failed, file CKA@CUST not allocated
    at ...".
    

Problem conclusion

  • zSecure has been modified so that multiple ISPF sessions that
    are running in ISPF split screen mode do not influence each
    other.
