OA59730: AGMP1044E CCCC IBM Z APM CONNECT CALL TO XXXX FAILED, RCODE=19

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• message AGMP1044E is issued due to reaching the maximum number
  of address spaces that can connect to the container, however
  this is not accurate. The table is filling up incorrectly
  when CICS is restarted with a different address space ID.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• ****************************************************************
  * USERS AFFECTED: All zAPM v610 users with CICS applications   *
  ****************************************************************
  When CICS is recycled and picks up a new ASID, zapm does not
  remove the asid from it's references but still adds a new entry
  

Problem conclusion

• We now clear the ASID table of all unused ASIDs when we reach
  the maximum before attempting to add a new entry.
