OA58705: HSM HANGS DURING PSM WITH ARCMDSUV WAITS TO BE POSTED BY ARCMSCR0, BUT ARCMSCR0 HAS EXITED AND NO LONGER EXISTS.

Obtain the fix for this APAR.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• During Primary Space Management, mother task ARCMDSUV is waiting
  to be posted back by daughter task ARCMSCR0. However, ARCMSCR0
  has exited and no longer exists.  A dump of HSM at the time of
  this hang will show ARCMDSUV in an
  SVC1 WAIT for an ECB that should be posted by ARCMSCR0, but
  there is no ARCMSCR0 daughter task in the dump.
  

Local fix

• BYPASS/CIRCUMVENTION:
  None.		.
  
  RECOVERY ACTION:
  Recycle HSM
