    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: REXX pseudo-conversational              *
    *                      interactions fail when lower-case       *
    *                      transids are used.                      *
    ****************************************************************
    REXX/CICS currently only works in pseudo-conversational mode
    when UPPERCASE transids are used. If a lowercase or mixed case
    transid is used then the first leg of a REXX
    pseudo-conversational interaction will work but will fail on the
    next leg.REXX/CICS code uppercased the transid on the first leg
    and it was then stored into the CICS TCTTE ready for the next
    leg. The pseudo-conversational process expected a lowercase
    transid to wake up the application but found an uppercase one
    instead.

Problem conclusion

  • CICS REXX code has been amended to support lowercase/mixed case
    transids.
