OA58261: IEC331I 028-002(010000B9) DURING RLS ENABLED CATALOG UPDATE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• For RLS Enabled catalogs, it is possible to receive  IEC331I
  028-002(010000B9) or 026-008 errors.   These messages indicate
  an error was returned by SMSVSAM from during a request and the
  010000B9 elludes to a cancelled task.  In reality, this is due
  to Catalog reusing an RPL in-use by another task to obtain info
  from the catalog.
  
  KNOWN IMPACT:
  This condition can cause a false error in which records are left
  orphaned in the catalog.  Use DIAGNOSE to determine if orphans
  exist and take corrective action.  Subsequent defines may
  receive 8-44 IEC331I 008-044 errors encountering duplicate keys

Local fix

• BYPASS/CIRCUMVENTION:
  run DIAGNOSE to determine if orphan entries/keys exist.  Remove
  entries and resubmit
