    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    When a TCP/IP packet trace is requested to be started, routine
    CNMETACC is run, but CNMETACC does not attempt to use any
    PKTS.STORAGE.tcpname values specified in CNMSTYLE. Therefore,
    if a value for storage is not specified, the default value of
    50M is used.

Problem conclusion

  • Routine CNMETACC is being modified such that if the PKTS
    command is issued without the STORAGE keyword, it will attempt
    to retrieve value(s) specified via PKTS.STORAGE.tcpname
    statements in CNMSTYLE from common variables. If found, the
    value specified will be used, if not, the default value of 50M
    is used.
