  * USERS AFFECTED: Users of zSecure services for remote data    *
  *                 access.                                      *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The zSecure server task (CKNSERVE)      *
  *                      issues an ABEND878-10 in cases where    *
  *                      the system spool area is filled up.     *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF provided and review the        *
  *                 documentation update.                        *
  ****************************************************************
  When a data collection sub-task (zSecure Collect) launched by
  the zSecure server task (CKNSERVE) takes to much time to run
  (for example, when the system spool is filled up), a new
  data collection sub-task is invoked at the configured data
  refresh interval leading to an ABEND878-10 (storage shortage).
  

Problem conclusion

• zSecure services for remote data access have been modified so
  that a data collection sub-task (zSecure Collect) is not invoked
  until the previous instance of the same task is complete.
  Please note the documentation changes as provided by the APAR
  tracking comment data.
