Error description

  • Allocation of SMF.LOGSTR via the zSecure Server does not work.
    When specifying an input file of type SMF.LOGSTR with
    zSecNode/zSecSys, the following type of CARLa ALLOC is
    generated:
    alloc type=smf dsn=IFASMF.PLEX1.ALL subsys=(LOGR,IFASEXIT)
    zsecnode=SPL87NOD
    but this fails with message CKN202I and the CKNSERVE log shows
    IKJ56228I, for example:
    IKJ56228I DATA SET IFASMF.PLEX1.ALL NOT IN CATALOG OR CATALOG
    CAN NOT BE ACCESSED
    CKN202I 08 Allocate failed          IFASMF.PLEX1.ALL  to
    SV0000SM

    When an SMF logstream is provided as input to the zSecure
    Admin/Audit in a multi-system environment, the zSecure Server
    (CKNSERVE) displays a MSGCKN202I which begins with the text
    "Allocate failed ...".
    

Problem conclusion

  • zSecure has been modified so that SMF logstream processing is
    performed correctly in a zSecure multi-system environment.
