OA56453: CUSTOM NLS MENU OPTIONS DISAPPEAR FOLLOWING AN NLS TABLE UPGRADE

Obtain the fix for this APAR.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Custom NLS menu options disappear following an NLS table
  upgrade.
  The migration process incorrectly adds the customized entries
  (which must contain at least one of the following characters:
  @, # or $, otherwise, the added option is deleted during an NLS
  upgrade) at the bottom of all the option entries, meaning it
  will not be displayed correctly.
  (For system defaults the migration process is initiated when
  SE.D.N is entered.)
  

Local fix

• Redefine the custom menu options in the correct location using
  SE.N or SE.D.N.

  custom menu items and line commands is not executing properly.
  

Problem conclusion

• zSecure has been modified so that the migration to new
  versions correctly migrates the custom defined menu items
  and line commands.
