APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• CKN045I 12 ZSECSYS statement missing for ZSECSYS specified on
  OPTION OWNSYS is issued when an OPTION command without OWNSYS(
  ) is specified, and ZSECSYS is written with an unqualified
  IPADDR( ) value.
  

Local fix

• There are two options for a workaround. They are as follows:
  
  1. Change the OPTION command to include a valid OWNSYS()
  2. Specify a qualified IPADDR()

  When an OPTION configuration statement for the zSecure Server is
  provided without the OWNSYS argument and the ZSECSYS
  configuration statement is written with an unqualified IPADDR()
  value, the program issues a MSGCKN045I which begins with the
  text "ZSECSYS statement missing for ..." and terminates.
  

Problem conclusion

• zSecure Server has been modified so that it correctly determines
  the OWNSYS value in cases where an unqualified IPADDR() is
  provided for the ZSECSYS statement and no OWNSYS argument is
  provided for the OPTION configuration statement. No MSGCKN045I
  is issued for such cases.
