OA56123: RENAME OF AUTOMATION NAME IN APPLICATION GROUP CAUSES RESOURCE NAME DELETION.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Updating APG-Application Group in PDB, rename of 'automation
  name' causes resources attached to the group to be deleted.
  Problem occurs only for SYSTEM APGs which are a member of
  SYSPLEX APG.

  * RECOMMENDATION: If a SYSTEM APG is member of a SYSPLEX APG   *

  *                 rename of the linked resources in AOFTR2R    *
  *                 is done incorrectly. Therefore linked        *
  *                 resources are missing after the rename.      *

  Rename of AUTOMATION NAME in Application group causes linked
  resources being deleted.
  

Problem conclusion

• AOFF#RSC has been changed to do the rename of all attached
  resources in a correct way.
