Error description

  • SE.A.A W(Who/Where) action results in "Invalid e-mail address".

    ATSIGN setting, hitting enter on the Alert destination panel
    results in "Invalid e-mail address".

Local fix

  • 1) Enter SE.7
    2) Enter the @ sign in the "SMTP atsign" field
    3) Enter, then PF3 to accept
    4) Enter SE.A.A to adjust your alert destinations

    *                 (interactive option SE.A.A) to configure     *
    * the destination of alerts when this was done *
    * previously with a zSecure that does not *

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The zSecure Alert configuration *
    * interface might display the "Invalid *
    *                      e-mail address" message while setting a *
    *                      destination.                            *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF provided. *
    ****************************************************************
    When the alert configuration is maintained by older versions of
    zSecure Alert with no "SMTP atsign' support the user interface
    might display the "Invalid e-mail address" message.

Problem conclusion

  • The zSecure user interface has been modified so that the
    "SMTP atsign" variable is initialized and the "Invalid e-mail
    address" message is no longer issued.
