Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    * USERS AFFECTED: Users of zSecure Admin exploiting the        *
    *                 RA.3.4 report in interactive mode.           *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: zSecure Admin might not save the RACF   *
    *                      commands in a command file after        *
    *                      modifications made on the RA.3.4 panel. *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF provided.                      *
    ****************************************************************
    When user data modifications were made on the detail screen
    of the RA.3.4 report (User Scope/permit) and the 'Specify type
    of authorization' option on the RA.3.4 panel is set to 2 (Direct
    permit or Connect (Id or Connect Group on access list)) or 3
    (Scope (access or administrative authority by any means)), the
    zSecure Admin does not save generated RACF command in the
    command file so that it is not possible to apply the
    modifications.
    

Problem conclusion

  • zSecure Admin has been modified so that the generated RACF
    commands are properly written to a zSecure command file.
