When OMEGAMON CICS is updating its control blocks pertaining
to a CICS region, it is possible that the CICS region has
ended or is swapped-out, this is not unexpected and OMEGAMON
should recover and retry.
Some abends were not handled correctly, resulting in the
waiting task never being POSTed complete. This task caused the
SA03 at shutdown.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • OMEGAMON CICS was changed to handle the abend correctly, and
to ensure that waiting tasks are POSTed.
