OA55059: NON-ZSECURE APPLICATIONS ISSUE S0C4 IN ZSECURE EXIT C2PRIY02 ON Z/OS 2.3 WITH ZSECURE V2.30

APAR status

Error description

• After installation of zSecure 2.3.0 on z/OS 2.3.0, when
  applications are shutting down, they receive an 0C4 abend
  indicating a problem with zSecure module C2PRIY02.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The zSecure Access Monitor started task *
  *                      might cause some running tasks to       *
  *                      ABEND0C4 during termination.            *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF provided.                      *

  The running applications/tasks might issue an ABEND0C4 during
  termination in cases where the Access Monitor started task
  (C2PACMON) is active.
  

Problem conclusion

• The zSecure Access Monitor started task has been modified so it
  does not cause other running applications to ABEND0C4 during
  termination.
